The YouTube Multi-Video Uploader is causing some people's computers to become caught in a loop between the upload and install pages. We are aware of this issue and will update this post when it's resolved. In the meantime, if you're experiencing this problem, you may want to try using the single video uploader.
Update (2/28/2008, 4:35 PM PDT):
We've been able to fix this issue. Uploading through both the single video uploader and the multi-video uploader now work properly.

Users on Firefox that just upgraded to the newest version of Adobe Flash may be stuck "Connecting" when trying to upload and may not be able to successfully upload a video. In the meantime, you may want to use another browser, the multi-uploader, or you can click the "Click here if you are having problems" link on the upload page in order to upload your video. We're working to resolve this issue and will update you when it is fixed.

We will be doing some site maintenance today beginning at 5:00PM PST that will last 4 to 5 hours. During this period, the site will be in read-only mode so you will continue to be able to watch videos but other features (i.e. commenting, signing up for new accounts, etc.) will be disabled. We appreciate your patience while we're working to improve the site for you!
